NC central committee vote count underway; Dr. Shashank leading



KATHMANDU: Dr. Shashank Koirala is still leading in the vote count for the central member at the 14th General Convention of the party.

The counting of votes for the ‘open’ category of the central member is underway.

According to NC sources, Dr. Koirala has taken the lead in the ongoing polls. He has got 1971 votes out of 2393 votes counted so far.

Under the ‘open’ category, 99 candidates are contesting for the posts of 35 central members of the party.
