Supreme Court turning to normalcy



KATHMANDU: Indications have shown that Supreme Court is likely to pick up rhythm despite the protests being staged by the Nepal Bar Association.

Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana has assigned 10 benches to hear on writ petitions for today. All the assigned Justices are attending the assigned benches.

Chief Justice has scheduled 222 all sorts of cases including habeas corpus for hearing today.

Agitating Justices have who had been staging demonstrations demanding Chief Justice’s resignation have agreed to attend the benches following an agreement to schedule writ petitions through lottery.
