YCL distributes relief to Sindhupalchowk flood victims



CHAUTARA: Young Communist League Nepal (YCL), a sister organization of the CPN-Maoist Center has distributed relief to flood victims in Sindhupalchowk.

According to YCL Spokesperson Pushpa Oli informed that the central team led by YCL president Ram Prasad Sapkota ‘Deepshikha’ distributed cooking utensils including pressure cookers to the residents of Melamchi, Helambu and Chanaute.

On Thursday alone, the YCL set up a disaster relief fund to deal with the coronavirus infected people and natural disasters victims.

“YCL has already started to provide relief materials to the flood-affected areas through the fund,” spokesperson Oli said.

The Maoist Center had earlier instructed its cadres to work hard for the flood and landslide victims.
