Tanzania gets first female President



DODOMA: Samia Suluhu Hassan was sworn in as Tanzania’s first female president at a ceremony on Friday.

She was the vice-president in Magufuli’s administration.

She had announced President Magufuli’s death earlier.

President Magufuli died of cardiac arrest on Wednesday at a hospital in Dar es Salaam, she had said in an address on state television.
