Ward chair held with a woman from hotel room



BAITADI: Ward Chairman of Dogadakedar rural municipality-7 Bharat Mahara has been arrested with a woman from a hotel room in the district.

Mahara was taken under control with the woman from the room of a hotel based in Khochlek Bazaar at 3 am on Friday, said DSP Narayan Prasad Adhikari.

Mahara’s wife had informed the police about it after knowing that both Mahara and the woman were staying in the room.

“Preparations are underway to bring them to the district headquarters,” said Adhikari, adding, “Both of them were arrested from a hotel room. We will investigate the issue.”
