KATHMANDU: As a forum to settle the ongoing political crisis in the country, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has demanded a round table conference in the country.

Addressing the RPP cadres in Kathmandu, RPP Chairman Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani remarked that a roundtable conference is the best forum to discuss the ongoing political conflict and settle them democratically.

“The country is heading towards crisis due to instability and agitation, and RPP is concerned about the crisis,” RPP Chairman Dr. Lohani said in the gathering, “A roundtable conference and dialogue involving all parties is turning mandatory to address the way out.”

Dr. Lohani lauded former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai’s remark and added that Dr. Bhattarai’s argument that a roundtable conference including all major stakeholders of the country is a must to help the country out from the crisis.

He pointed out that the political parties’ claims that ‘the political problems are resolved and now the country will see the prosperous days ahead’ have proved false.

He further added that integration of the Hindu nation with space for monarchy and all religions in the constitution is getting inevitable.
