Former PM Bhattarai lauds Civil Society’s Tundikhel Marchpass

KATHMANDU: President of Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal’s Federal Council and former Prime Minister Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai has appreciated the civil society’s march pass on Friday demanding green and open public spaces in Kathmandu.

Commenting on the Civil Society’s protest seeking the open spaces in the capital, the former Prime Minister has urged the government to develop Tundikhel an open and green place for all people.

“As there can’t be a living body without lungs, there cannot be a city without an open and green place for all people,” Dr. Bhattarai has written in his twitter.

He has lauded the concern of the conscious citizens and wished it could be successful.
