Jhakka Acharya appointed Director General of Inland Revenue Department



KATHMANDU: Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Jhakka Prasad Acharya has been appointed as the Director-General of the Inland Revenue Department.

He was the head of the Financial Sector Management Division at the ministry.

The ministry has decided to send Acharya to the Department on Thursday.

The post was vacant after the transfer of Binod Bahadur Kunwar, former Director-General of the Department.

He was transferred on January 14.
