Entrepreneurs request ministry for on-arrival visa to foreigners



KATHMANDU: The entrepreneurs have requested the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation to facilitate the arrangement of on-arrival visa to the foreigners entering Nepal via land and air routes.

Even the government officials in the tourism sectors are for this bid.

The organizations and agencies affiliated with Nepal Tourism Board made such request in the wake of huge dent in tourism sector owing to Covid-19.

The Ministry has been further urged to ease the health protocol.

A press release issued by Nepal Tourism Board on Monday stated that the tourism related agencies were aware that Nepal’s international repute in tourism sector needs to be restored.
