Octogenarian man dies of COVID-19 in Baitadi



BAITADI: A person has died from coronavirus in Baitadi district.

An 85-year-old man of Dasharathchanda municipality who was undergoing treatment at Baitadi district hospital succumbed to the virus.

The octogenarian was admitted to the hospital after testing positive for the virus on Thursday afternoon. He passed away at 9 pm on Friday, informed Hari Prasad Panta, the information officer of District Hospital Baitadi.

As many 19 people have died from coronavirus in Baitadi till date.
