Nepali nat’l held with silver goods



KATHMANDU: Seema Suraksha Bal (SSB) of India has arrested a Nepali national with silver goods from Banbasa, an Indian market bordering Nepal.

The arrested is Suresh Bahadur Duwal of Bajhang district

Acting on a tip-off, an on-duty squad of SSB rounded up Suresh with spoons and glasses worth Rs 400,000.

Suresh who was arrested from the Nepal-India border has been handed over to the Custom Office for necessary action, said SSB. He was caught while he was smuggling silver goods to Nepal from New Delhi, the capital city of India.
