Prohibitory orders currently enforced in 58 districts

KATHMANDU: The Home Ministry has informed that the number of districts enforcing prohibitory orders has declined lately. Currently, only 58 districts have implemented prohibitory orders.

Even the districts enforcing lockdown have gradually allowed the people’s activities except for gatherings.

Spokesperson at Home Ministry, Janak Raj Dahal, however, said the lockdown was not relaxed but people’s activities eased where safety measures are a must. People’s activities are getting gradually normalized with the subsided second wave of COVID-19 in recent weeks.

The second wave was taking a huge toll last April and May. Similarly, the vehicles entering the federal capital with a specific purpose do not need passes now.

Public health expert Dr. Rabindra Pande, however, cautioned that people must not be reckless as the coronavirus could be increased at any time.
