One murdered in Kailali, four arrested on suspicion

KATHMANDU: One identified as Ramesh Chaudhary, 25, of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis-7 has been killed in Kailali and four have been arrested on suspicion of having a role in the murder, police have said.

Police arrested the deceased’s wife and three others for investigation. Chief of the District Police Office, Kailali, Superintendent of Police (SP) Bishwa Adhikari said Chaudhary was found dead near Khutiya Khola, about 700 meters away from his house, on Saturday morning.

Chaudhary had said he was headed to his friend’s place Friday evening; the next day he was found strangled to death. Police arrested four people on suspicion of involvement. The identities of those arrested have been concealed for investigation.

Murdered Chaudhary is survived by a three-year-old son.
