31 passengers injured in Daunne road accident



KATHMANDU: As many as 31 persons have been injured after a bus met with an accident along the Daunne road section of Binayi Tribeni Rural Municipality-2, Nawalpur district in Gandaki Province Saturday.

The bus en route to Narayangadh from Butwal fell 200-meter below the road, informed District Police Office Nawalpur.

Of the 31 injured in the accident, 13 are males, 12 females and six are children, said police. Rescue work is underway.

The total number of passengers in the bus has yet to be confirmed.
