KATHMANDU: Manakamana Cable Car service will be closed for four days from December 19 to 22 for maintenance.
Issuing a notice on Thursday, Manakamana Darshan Pvt. Ltd has informed that the cable car service will be shut down for four days.
“The gearbox and tower have to be repaired, so we are closing it for four days,” the company said in the notice.
According to the company sources, some Austrian technicians will monitor the upgrade of the cable car.
However, the company has informed that the restaurant around the station will continue to operate even if the cable car is closed. The cable car will resume operations from next Thursday, i.e. December 23.
