Fire destroys property worth over Rs 5 million



BAGLUNG: Shrestha Hardware located at Baglung bazaar has caught fire this morning, destroying all goods in the shop.

Security personnel and locals have been making efforts to douse the fire that took place all of a sudden.

Reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Information officer at the District Police Office, Baglung, Ekbal Hawari, said that though the details of the loss caused by the fire are still awaited, locals suspect that property worth more than five million rupees might have been destroyed.

Incidents of fire have increased in Baglung bazaar in recent period.

Property worth around Rs 2 million was gutted when Srijana Furniture Factory at Baglung municipality caught fire this week.

Earlier, Green and Chill Restaurant located at main Baglung bazaar caught fire where property worth Rs 1.3 million was gutted.
