HETAUDA: A person has died after being hit by a tipper in Hetauda Sub Metropolitan-19 in Makwanpur on Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Yuvaraj Acharya, 40, of Ratnanagar in Chitwan district.
Similarly, Nur Bahadur Thapa, 33, of Jaimini in Baglung district has sustained injuries in the accident.
He is undergoing treatment at Chure Hill Hospital in Hetauda.
Thapa’s condition is normal. The tipper driver is absconding. According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur, they are searching for him.
