Home Minister Khand hopeful of NC’s strengthening under newly elected NC President Deuba



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has expressed the hope that Prime Minister and newly elected Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba would lead the party leadership by accommodating all onboard.

Talking to media-persons in brief following the reelection of PM Deuba, the minister offered his hope that the party would be further strengthened, active, dynamic and organised under the new leadership of Deuba as he said he has a ‘special’ capacity to accommodate all onboard.

“During his (President Deuba) stint, democracy will be consolidated. He will play a role in taking forward the country through a political consensus and cooperation and organising local level and general elections successfully.”

According to minister Khand, newly elected NC President Deuba has pledged to accommodate all party leaders who have contested in the party General Convention and make party’s campaign active and a success.
