Nepal sees 272 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 272 new cases of coronavirus while 777 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 240 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 32 from antigen method.

Likewise, there are 89 cases in Kathmandu, 11 in Bhaktapur and 18 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 118 in past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether eight infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death toll 11,277.
