Nepalis rally in London demanding assistance to Nepal



KATHMANDU: Nepali communities rallied in London Tuesday demanding immediate assistance to Nepal against Covid-19.

The rally held at the initiation of Brigade of Gurkhas saw the participation of Nepali communities. The rally called for immediate health care support, including vaccination, to Nepal and equal pension for the Brigade of Gurkhas.

The rally passed by Downing Street, the British Prime Minister’s Office, holding placards and chanting slogans.

Last week, British lawmakers also appealed to Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab to provide assistance to Nepal.
