Rain-triggered floods inundate 30 houses in Manang



CHAME: Incessant rain-triggered floods have deluged the Talgaun village of Manang district, leaving many houses inundated.

The Talgaun village has been inundated due to the incessant rains continuing since Monday.

Out of 60 houses based in Talgaun, 30 houses have been deluged by floods, said Karsang Gurung, a local.

The remaining houses are also at risk. No human casualties have taken place so far since they fled their to safe areas, said Bishnu Lamichhane, chief district officer (CDO) of Manang District Bishnu Lamichhane.
