JSP Chairman Thakur clarifies Executive Committee meeting not called



KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Chairman Mahanta Thakur has clarified that no meeting of the party’s executive committee has been called today.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Thakur expressed ignorance about the meeting convened by another chairman Upendra Yadav.

“I have drawn serious attention to the news circulating in various media and social media that the meeting is being held,” he said in a statement. “It is clear to all concerned that no meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the Janata Samajwadi Party of Nepal has been convened and we do not have such information.”

A meeting of party members is being held at the party office in Balkumari with Chairman Upendra Yadav and Federal Council Chairman Dr Baburam Bhattarai.
