UML Chair Oli accuses ruling alliance of leading country towards instability

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has accused the ruling coalition of working to destabilize the country as per the foreign strategy.

Addressing UML’s parliamentary party meeting held to formulate a strategy before the federal parliament convenes on Tuesday, UML Chair Oli, who is also a parliamentary party leader, accused the ruling coalition of pursuing a foreign strategy to destabilize the country.

“The five party alliance has been working on the foreigners’ agenda to destabilize the country,” he said, adding, “The country is in the hand of the reactionary forces. The government is a reactionary government guided by regressive principles.”

Chairman Oli accused Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota and the Election Commission of conspiring against UML and causing the party split.

He urged UML lawmakers to continue the obstruction in the parliament.

While in government, UML Chair Oli had tried to dissolve the parliament twice in a year, and was toppled down by five-party alliance alleging that the government was causing instability and was in the hand of regressive forces.
