Nepal records 306 new COVID-19 cases, six deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 113 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 306 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 291 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 15 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 76 persons in Kathmandu, 29 in Lalitpur, and 8 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 113 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, six people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 348 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
