Nepal sees 455 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 455 new cases of coronavirus while 804 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 398 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 57 from antigen method.

Likewise, there are 147 cases in Kathmandu, 20 in Bhaktapur and 49 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 216 in past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether eight infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death toll 11,269.
