Indian national killed in tiger attack



BANKE: An Indian citizen died in a tiger attack at Banke National Park. The identity of the deceased has not been ascertained yet.

The tiger attacked the man around 55 years at a jungle area inside the Rapti Sonari rural municipality-1 of Banke under the east-west highway on Monday, said Chief Conservation Officer of the Park, Shyam Kumar Sah.

The body has been brought to Banke National Park. Park employees, Nepal Army, and Police had reached the incident site after getting information about the incident.

The deceased was working as a helper in a hotel located at Gavar village and police have not been able to ascertain his identity yet, said Sah.
