KATHMANDU: Additional 4.4 million doses of Vero Cell vaccine are expected to arrive from China this year.
Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Roshan Pokharel, informed that more vaccines would arrive. Secretary Pokharel said 4.4 million doses of the government-purchased Vero Cell vaccine will arrive by Friday.
He said that another 300,000 doses of vaccine will come for the Nepal Army. Of the 6 million Vero Cell vaccines that the government last purchased from the Chinese government, 1.6 million doses have already arrived.
