KATHMANDU: A team of Armed Police Force has arrested two people with banned brown heroin from Belauri municipality-10, Budha Thapa Chowk in Kanchanpur.

Acting on a tip-off, the APF squad arrested 30-year-old Ashok Sunar and Keshav Chanda, 20, of Bhimdatta municipality-6, according to SP Birendra Bahadur Airee of APF Nepal no 35 battalion, Shaileshwari.

Brown heroin weighing 8.69 gram was recovered from the arrested. They were intercepted while they were coming to Nepal from India on a motorcycle, Se 4 Pa 7527.

Both the arrested have been handed over to the Area Police Office, Belauri for necessary action.
