President condoles death of people in road accidents



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said she is stunned that a large number of Nepalis lost their lives in the road accidents occurred in several districts including Mugu.

In her twitter post today, the Head of State offered condolences to those who died in the sad incidents that happened in Mugu, Sindhupalchowk, Achham, Syangja, Dadeldhura, Kaski, among other places while going home for celebrating Dashain and travelling for outing.

The President also extended condolences to the bereaved families.

Wishing for the speedy recovery of health of those injured in the accidents, President Bhandari has called attention of the regulatory bodies, the service providers and service recipients all to adopt precaution as generally the tendency of more vehicular accidents taking place during the festival period have been repeating from time to time.
