India reports new 16,021 COVID-19 cases and 229 deaths

NEW DELHI: India’s COVID-19 cases have reached 34,000,500 with 16,021 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

Similarly, India recorded 229 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 451,220, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

With new 22,850 recoveries, the number of people recovered in India has reached 33,335,301.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 4,881,590 and infected 239,480,382 globally until the filing of this news.
