UML Chair Oli’s writ listed as not to be heard Monday



KATHMANDU: The writ petition filed by CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli against Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota and the Election Commission (EC) has been listed as not to be heard on Monday.

According to Supreme Court sources, the writ assigned to the division bench of Justices Deepak Karki and Mira Khadka has been in the list not to be heard today citing the busy schedule of the justices.

The hearing has been postponed as Justices Deepak Karki and Mira Khadka have to attend the pre-scheduled Bench-Bar Coordination Committee’s meeting in the afternoon.

Senior judges Karki and Khadka are the members of the committee.
