DHANKUTA: A person has died in an accident in Sangurigadhi rural municipality-6 of Dhankuta district.
The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Man Rai, 36, of Sahidbhumi rural municipality-4, Dhankuta.
The accident took place when a motorcycle, Ko 19 Pa 9428, heading towards Dharan from Sankhuwasabha was hit by a bus, Ko 1 Kha 4889, coming from the same direction at around 5:45 pm on Sunday.
Ganeshman, who was riding a motorcycle, died while undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan at around 7.45 pm, police said.
Pillion rider Ratna Kumar Rai, 33, of Chulachuli rural municipality-6 of Ilam also sustained injuries.
