Third wave of pandemic likely soon, keep isolation and hospital ready: MoHA



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has directed the Chief District Officers (CDOs) of all 77 districts to make the list of isolation centers, hospitals and medical colleges for the treatment of coronavirus infections as the third wave of pandemic is likely to come soon.

Writing to the district administration offices of all districts, MoHA issued instructions to make necessary arrangements in isolation centers, hospitals and medical colleges considering the possibility of a third wave of COVID-19 infection.

The letter sent to the CDOs, has mentioned that the list of hospitals should be sent to the Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Health and Population.

The ministry has also asked to update the data / details of the infected in the listed hospitals on a daily basis. The information states that the details of the infected people who have received free treatment should be sent every month to the concerned hospitals for research and update.

The Ministry has also directed to conduct regular supervision and monitoring of the listed hospitals.
