KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said the rain has occurred in a few places of Bagmati Pradesh, Gandaki Pradesh and Sudurpashchim Pradesh with generally cloudy weather.
According to a weather bulletin issued by the MFD this morning, the light to moderate rain is forecast in many places of the country and heavy rains coupled with thunderstorms in one or two places in Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpashchim.
Meanwhile, the Division has urged the people especially those living along the river-banks to take precautions warning of floods and landslides.
The weather will remain generally to fully cloudy across the country with chances of light to moderate rains in many places of the country today afternoon.

Heavy rains coupled with thunderstorms are forecast in one or two places of Pradesh 1, Bagmati Pradesh, Gandaki Pradesh and Sudurpaschim Pradesh.
