Man arrested for attacking wife with acid



RAUTAHAT: Police have arrested a man from Rautahat on the charge of attacking his wife with acid.

According to police, the arrested is Deepak Bishwakarma, 42, of Chandrapur Municipality-7.

SP Siddhi Bikram Shah, Chief of the District Police Office, Rautahat said that Bishwakarma attacked his wife Deepika Bishwakarma, 38, with acid following an internal dispute.

The woman injured in the acid attack is undergoing treatment at the Apollo Hospital in Chandranigahapur. Her left arm, abdomen and legs have been burnt.
