Nepal sees 397 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 397 new cases of coronavirus while 389 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 355 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 42 from antigen method.

Likewise, there are 125 cases in Kathmandu, 4 in Bhaktapur and 42 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 171 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether three infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death toll to 11,469.
