Nepali migrant worker in Malaysia out of contact with family for 16 years



PARBAT: A man, who was in Malaysia for a job has lost contact with his family ever since he left home for the country 16 years ago, said the family.

Sarbajit BK of Mahashila Rural Municipality-1 in Parbat reached the country through a Kathmandu-based recruiting agency named Mev Manpower, said BK’s relative Bishnu Ram BK.

Now, the job placement company that did the process for him to get a job in Malaysia has been closed. BK was in contact with his family for four years since he worked for the company with which he reached an agreement for a job beforehand.

After that, he lost contact with his family, said Bishnu Ram. BK’s family has appealed for finding his whereabouts.
