Schools to operate in-person in Makwanpur starting today



HETAUDA: Schools in Makwanpur, which had been closed due to the risk of coronavirus infection, are opening with physical attendance of students from today.

The District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (DCCM), Makwanpur, has decided that the educational institutions can resume teaching activities in the physical attendance of the students with the approval from the local unit of the district.

All the educational institutions at all 10 local levels of the district will be open in physical presence from today.

Ram Chandra Khadka, the education officer at Hetauda Sub-metropolis, said the schools will operate teaching activities in physical attendance of the students.

There are 77 community schools and 46 private schools in Hetauda sub-metropolis.
