Man kills his brother over minor dispute



KATHMANDU: A man has killed his own brother over a minor dispute in Mahottari district.

According to District Police Office (DPO), Mahottari, 50-year-old Ramchandra Sah along with his family members on June 9 ruthlessly attacked his own younger brother Laxman Sah, 45, over the dispute of the household diety.

Critically injured Sah, who was was rushed to Kathmandu for treatment, breathed his last in the course of treatment on Friday, said SP Dinesh Acharya of DPO, Mahottari.

Laxman’s body has been brought to his house following a postmortem carried out in Kathmandu. Assailant Ram Chandra along with his family members have been at large following the death of Laxman.

SP Acharya said they have launched a manhunt to nab the assailants and are investigating the case.
