Five killed in Chitwan tractor accident



CHITWAN: Five people have died in a tractor accident that occurred in Chitwan district on Sunday night.

According to DSP Surya Bahadur Thapa of District Police Office, Chitwan, five people died when a tractor, Na 1 Ta 6282, went out of control at Chiudekhola in Rapti municipality, Ampani.

A total of 22 people were travelling in the ill-fated tractor.

Some of those injured in the accident are receiving treatment at Old Medical College and Chitwan Medical College, informed Thapa.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
