Learning continuity campaign inaugurated



KATHMANDU: Leaning Continuity Campaign has been launched in the country keeping the post Covid-19 situation in mind.

The Campaign has been initiated in collaboration of different organizations including Nepal Teachers’ Federation and Community School Management Committee Federation of Nepal.

Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Gopinath Mainali, today inaugurated the campaign virtually in a program organized at coordination of United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Education and Human Resources Development Center.

On the occasion, Mainali expressed the belief that the campaign would contribute for the guarantee of student’s right to education in a context when school education has been made free and compulsory in the fundamental rights section of the Constitution.

Chairperson of Nepal Teachers’ Federation, Baburam Thapa, shared that they are ready to involve in the campaign of completing the curriculum of students through any means at any time.

Similarly, Chairperson of Community School Management Committee Federation of Nepal, Krishna Thapa expressed determination to be at the forefront as the role of guardians is important in continuity of learning.
