Gachchhadar and Khadka picked for vice presidents from Deuba panel



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is in the presidential race for the upcoming leadership of the party, has not finalized the list of candidates.

The Deuba panel has finalized the names of Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar and Purna Bahadur Khadka for the post of vice presidents. Similarly, Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat and Pradeep Poudel are in the fray for the post of general secretaries but their names are yet to be finalized.

Similarly, Farmulla Mansur from Muslim community, Jeevan Bahadur Shahi from backward community and Dina Sangraula Upadhyaya from women category have been picked for the post of deputy general secretaries.

Leaders have not yet finalized the list of candidates even though the nomination process has started at 10 am today.
