KATHMANDU: Demanding the resignation of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana, the Nepal Bar Association (NBA) is holding sit-in protests at all courts of Kathmandu Valley today.

NBA members are holding a sit-in from 10 am to 12 noon today demanding the resignation of Chief Justice Rana.

The Bar, which had previously been protesting only at the Supreme Court and the central office premises of the Bar Association, has been gradually expanding its agitation.

The Bar has already held discussions with its 90 units across the country to intensify its movement.

General Secretary of the Bar Lilamani Poudel has even written to all the judicial bodies in the Valley to support their movement.

It should be noted that even the Supreme Court judges have been in agitation demanding the resignation of Chief Justice Rana.
