Nepal sees 785 new COVID-19 cases, 12 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 295 fresh coronavirus cases

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 785 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 663 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 122 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 191 persons in Kathmandu, 78 in Lalitpur, and 26 in Bhaktapur have tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 295 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 12 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 888 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
