KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man on charge of mass murder in Madi of Sankhuwasabha.

According to police, Lok Bahadur Karki, of Madi-1, Umlingkhola, Sankhuwasabha has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the murder of six members of a family.

Karki is a relative of the slain family, the police said.

Tej Bahadur Karki, 52, his mother Parbati Karki, 84, wife Kamal Kari, 52, daughter in law Ranjana Karki 32, grandson Dipen Karki 11, and granddaughter Goma Karki,7 were killed in the incident.
