India records 8, 167 new COVID-19 cases, 279 deaths

NEW DELHI: India’s COVID-19 cases have reached 34,674,408 with 8,167 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

Similarly, India recorded 279 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 474,390, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Currently, 102,630 people are undergoing treatment in various hospitals across the country while 34,097,388 have recovered from the pandemic.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 5,302,093 and infected 268,703,196 globally until the filing of this news.
