Nepal records 440 new COVID-19 cases, six deaths in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 440 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 387 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 53 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 155 persons in Kathmandu, 32 in Lalitpur, and 15 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 202 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, six people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 474 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
