Nepal records 1,146 new COVID-19 cases, 21 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 354 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 1,146 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 961 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 185 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 257 persons in Kathmandu, 56 in Lalitpur, and 41 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 354 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 21 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 1,660 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
