KATHMANDU: Senior Nepali Congress (NC) leader Ram Chandra Poudel met with NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba and discussed the disputes concerning the active membership issue at Deuba’s home district, Dadeldhura.
A ward convention is being held on Dadeldhura today.
District President Karna Bahadur Malla and other leaders have been insisting that they would not participate in the ward convention which could not be held earlier. Malla is in Poudel’s camp.
The Dadaldhura Congress Working Committee has been protesting against the removal of the names of the active members and the addition of active members by the Deuba faction.
