LAHAN: Police have impounded five tippers from Golbazaar municipality-9 of Siraha district for carrying illegally extracted sand, pebbles and gravel.

A team deployed from Area Police Office, Golbazaar, impounded the vehicles used in extracting pebble and gravel from Chure area illegally.

Police Inspectoor Santosh Rai said that the impounded tippers have been handed over to Golbazaar municipality for necessary action.

Police have increased their activeness after complaints regarding illegal extracting of aggregates from Chure area under Golbazaar municipality and Dhangadhimai municipality.
